일월 저수지에 위치한 유치원은 일월 도서관과 저수지 공원에 인접하여 자율적이고 자연친화적 교육이 가능한 지역이다. 적당한 햇빛과 바람, 그리고 드넓은 잔디밭을 소유하는 최적의 장소로 아이들이 건물과 야외공간을 오가며 특별한 경험을 할 수 있는 곳이다. 내부공간을 다양하게 만들어주되, 복잡하지 않게 하며 실내와 야외를 적극적으로 연결되는 계획이 우선시되었다. 이러한 환경 속에서 이 유치원 계획은 자연과 조화롭게 어울리며, 합리적인 공간의 활용으로 아이들에게 다가가고자 한다.
Kindergarten Project at Ilwol Reservoir. Adjacent to Ilwol Library and Reservoir Park, it is an area where autonomous and nature-friendly education is possible. It is an optimal place with adequate sunlight, wind and a large lawn, where children can have special experiences by going through the building and the outdoor space. Priority was given to making the interior space diverse, but not complicated. Thus, it was designed to actively connect the indoors and outdoors. In this environment, this kindergarten plan seeks to harmonize with nature and reach children through reasonable use of space.
Concept
중앙에 가장 큰 Mass인 공용공간을 두고 서로 다른 크기의 Mass들이 중앙으로 껴들어가거나 붙어서 전체를 형성한다. 각각의 Mass들은 높낮이에 차이가 있고 다양한 규모로 중앙으로 응집한다. 공용공간이 궁극적으로 모든 공간을 이어주며 결합시키는 중심체로 작용한다.
Public space in the center, which is the largest mass, and masses of different sizes are attached to the center to form the whole. Each mass has different heights and is concentrated in the center at various scales. The public space ultimately acts as a central body that connects and unites all spaces.
Site
동쪽으로는 차도의 큰 길가, 남쪽에는 일월도서관이 위치하며, 서쪽으로는 넓게 펼쳐진 잔디밭과 숲이 조성되어 있다. 교통과 도보로도 접근이 용인 대지이며 저수지 공원과 인접하여 근처의 자연과 적극적인 조화를 이루는 대지이다. 또한, 남쪽과 서쪽에서 오는 자연 채광과 녹지지대에서의 자연경관을 그대로 받고 있는 지역이다.
To the east is the main road, to the south is Ilwol Library, and to the west is a wide lawn and forest is located. It is a site that is easily accessible both by transportation and on foot, and is adjacent to a reservoir park, creating active harmony with the nearby nature. In addition, it is an area that receives natural light from the south and west and the natural scenery from the green area.
Design
중앙에 배치된 공간을 공용공간으로 계획한 이후 필요한 나머지 공간들을 겉에 결합시켜 전체 모습을 형성하였다. 공간들은 직육면체들로 계획하였으며 교실, 사무실, 식당, 다목적실, 강당, 계단 등의 역할을 지니고 있다. 이러한 직육면체들은 높낮이와 크기에 차이를 주어 다양한 형태를 형성하고 이들이 서로 결합하면서 공용공간과 이어지며 외부공간까지도 확장된다.
After planning the space in the center as a public space, the needed remaining spaces were combined on the outside to form the overall appearance. The spaces are planned as rectangular parallelepipeds and function as classrooms, offices, restaurant, multi-purpose room, auditorium, and stairs. These rectangular parallelepipeds form various shapes by varying their heights and sizes, and as they combine with each other, they connect to the public space and extend to the external space.
Program
1층 공간에서는 외부 자연공간과 최대한 상호작용할 수 있도록 연결하였고 중앙 공용공간은 모든 프로그램의 중심축이 되며 공간들의 이동경로로 활용된다.
The first floor space is connected to maximize interaction with the outdoor natural space. The central public space becomes the central axis of all programs and is used as a movement path for spaces.
